Friday Night Digger Recap: Another Chat-Picked Heritage Hit!

Boxpark open decks are back, the radio schedule is packed, and the Digger chat has gone back to 2006 for this week's throwback.

Alright, Blaze here. We are flying through January, and the vibes in the Friday Night Digger sessions are only getting stronger. It’s a proper privilege to hang with the Breaks family every Friday, and once again, I let the chat take the wheel to pick our legacy track. They’ve dug up a massive Wall Of Sound classic from 2006 that still carries that infectious energy.

The official Friday Night Digger Week 3 Chart is now live on Beatport. Dig into the full selection here: 👉 [Check the Friday Night Digger Week 3 Chart Here] (https://www.beatport.com/chart/friday-night-digger-week-3/878301)

It’s a big week for the community—the On The Rise open decks are taking over Boxpark Shoreditch this Tuesday. If you're in London, get down there. On top of that, the radio schedule is absolutely stacked with four different shows hitting the airwaves across the globe.

🏆 THE SELECTION

The Monday Edit — BURGOS
Track: "Acid Boom"
Label: Raveart Records
The Vibe: BURGOS brings the heat with a high-energy acid workout. Expect those signature squelching 303 lines layered over a driving breakbeat that’s designed to wake up the system.
Best For: Kicking off the week with raw, rave-ready energy.

Tuesday’s Logic — Alex Physalis
Track: "W axis (EvilSound Remix)"
Label: High Tree Records
The Vibe: EvilSound takes Alex Physalis into darker territory. This remix is all about technical precision, featuring a brooding atmosphere and a bassline that grinds through the frequency range.
Best For: Deep, technical mixing during a midweek transition.

The Pivot — Vkyng Track: "Acherontia"
Label: Samay Records
The Vibe: Samay Records continues their run of form with Vkyng. This track balances a melodic top-end with a heavy, rolling foundation, creating a "pivot" point in any set that keeps the floor moving.
Best For: Shifting gears from the technical to the melodic.

Legacy Layer — The Wiseguys
Track: "Ooh La La" Label: Wall Of Sound
The Vibe: This week’s Friday Night Digger pick. This 2006 gem is pure fun—blending breaks with a heavy dose of funk and a vocal hook that everyone knows. It’s a reminder of that classic Wall Of Sound era.
Best For: Lightening the mood and getting the whole room moving.

Weekend Fuel — Mary Droppinz, Neumonic
Track: "What?"
Label: Deadbeats
The Vibe: Mary Droppinz and Neumonic deliver a modern, bass-heavy weapon. It’s got that gritty Deadbeats edge—glitchy, loud, and unapologetically built for the weekend.
Best For: Peak-time fuel to ignite the Friday night fire.
